Problem Note 49824: SASĀ® Merchandise Data Integration mdi_loaddm_merch_hierarchy job might generate "ORACLE EXECUTE ERROR: ORA-04092: CANNOT ROLLBACK IN A TRIGGER"
When running the mdi_loaddm_merch_hierarchy job in SAS® Merchandise Data Integration to load Level 10 merchandise products into SAS® Merchandise Financial Planning, the following errors might be generated in the mdi_loaddm_merch_hierarchy.log:
ERROR: ORACLE execute error: ORA-04092: cannot ROLLBACK in a trigger
ORA-06512: at "MAXDATA.GET_CTREE_FROM_CMAST_ID", line 218
ORA-01403: no data found
ORA-06512: at "MAXDATA.BEF_UPD_LV10MAST", line 68
ORA-04088: error during execution of trigger 'MAXDATA.BEF_UPD_LV10MAST'.
This error is generated when there are orphan records in the lv10cat table and causes the job to fail.
The workaround for this issue is to either delete the orphaned record(s) or fix the product load input records that reference the orphaned lv10cat_id records.
Below are two SQL queries to help identify the orphaned records. It is recommended that you run the queries in sqlplus, SQL Developer, or TOAD using the maxdata user ID and password.
If the first query returns no records, then run the second query to identify the orphaned records.
