Installation Note 48675: The error "The 'sas.LocalProvider.93' provider is not registered on the local machine" occurs when you open SAS® Universal Viewer 1.3 in SAS® 9.4
If you installed SAS Universal Viewer 1.3 with SAS 9.4 software on a machine that had no previous version of SAS installed on it, opening a SAS data set might lead to the following error:
The "sas.LocalProvider.93" provider is not registered on the local machine.
To Correct This Issue
Download SAS Universal Viewer 1.3 (93.130 12w16- APR 2012) from the Downloads & Hot Fixes page on support.sas.com.
