SAS® AppDev Studio™

Quickly develop applications using the open source Eclipse IDE. The Eclipse plug-ins provide project templates, allowing you to develop applications that use the back-end business intelligence and analytics power of the SAS server. SAS AppDev Studio also helps you access the SAS Java Components API, which provides a rich set of visual components as well as corresponding models that interface with SAS data.

What’s New

  • AppDev Studio 4.4 provides compatibility with SAS® 9.4. For more information, see the SAS AppDev Studio 4.4 Eclipse Plug-ins Migration Guide.
  • Requirements:
    • SAS 9.4 (The maintenance version of AppDev Studio must match the maintenance version of SAS.)
    • Eclipse 4.2.x to 4.3x
    • Eclipse WTP 3.4.x
  • SAS BI Server Profiles work with SAS 9.4.
  • A new "Configure for SAS AppDev Studio" command to prepare servers to function with App Dev Studio.
  • Support for Java 7
