Dr. Dayanand N. Naik

Dr. Dayanand N. Naik passed away on Friday, October 26, 2012. Naik was Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA. He coauthored two SAS press books, Applied Multivariate Statistics with SAS Software and Multivariate Data Reduction and Discrimination with SAS Software. He was an active member of International Indian Statistical Association (IISA) from its early years including serving as the Treasurer from 1999-2001 and serving on several IISA committees.
