Getting Started with SAS

This outline is provisional and subject to change.This short course provides an introduction on how to write SAS programs to access, explore, prepare and analyze data.Please note: This is a taster course providing an overview of the listed SAS tool(s) and capabilities. Attendees who complete this short course and wish to complete the associated comprehensive training may be eligible for a discount.

• Use SAS Studio using SAS Viya Platform
• Access SAS, Microsoft Excel and test data both structured and unstructured data
• Learn procedures using SQL language to query and restructure tables
• Create & use custom formats. Create Custom formats from tables.
• Combine tables. Concatenate & Merge tables using match and non-match rows.
