Using SAS® Client Applications in a SAS® Grid Environment
There is a new version of this course. Please see SAS® Programming on the Grid.
This course teaches the architecture of a SAS grid environment, how to submit SAS workload to the grid from a variety of different SAS products and user interfaces, and how to convert existing SAS programs to run on the grid. The course includes hands-on exercises that use SAS applications with SAS Grid Manager.
This course is tailored to a SAS 9.4 grid environment using grid-launched workspace servers and enforcing the use of the grid in client applications. There is no discussion of the other methods or using options in the client applications to control the use of the grid for processing.
This course is available on request only and is not offered as part of the public schedule.Learn how to
