This course teaches you the fundamentals of SAS Merchandise Planning including key concepts, terminology, and base functionality integral to the Merchandise Planning solution. Topics include planning concepts, plan management, referencing and seeding, performance analysis, financial planning, in-season management, and assortment planning. After completing the course, you will be prepared to participate in key business decisions that occur in the Solution Definition Workshop (SDW).

Through the use of instructor-led demonstrations and student exercises that use a standard data set and a basic work flow scenario, this course is designed to provide you with the information, understanding, and hands-on skills needed to create and use the Performance Analysis module in SAS Merchandise Planning. This course serves as a prerequisite to all other SAS Merchandise Planning course offerings.
