Fundamentals of Clinical Trials and CDISC Standards
The Fundamentals of Clinical Trials and CDISC Standards program represents Level 2 of the SAS Academy for Clinical Programming. This joint training program, brought to you by SAS and partner OCS, provides in-class and practical content in clinical research theory and data analysis. Fundamentals of Clinical Trials is a 0.5-day introduction training on the fundamentals of clinical trials. It is aimed at those who want to get acquainted with the basic concepts of clinical trials and clinical research. CDISC SDTM is a 0.5-day introduction training on the fundamentals of clinical trials. It is aimed at those who want to get acquainted with the basic concepts of clinical trials and clinical research. CDISC ADaM provides 1.5 days of training that introduces the topic of SDTM implementation. It is aimed at those who want to start working with SDTM or improve their knowledge of SDTM standards, such as data managers and programmers. After this training, you will be able to design and define CDISC ADaM compliant analysis data sets for the most frequently occurring domains in the various data structures of ADaM. CDISC Define XML + S/ADRG provides 1 day of introductory training that discusses CDISC Define-XML v2.0 for SDTM and ADaM and the Study/Analysis Reviewer’s Guide. After this training, you will have an understanding of how to collect, compile, complete, and validate the data required for the creation of Define-XML and how to compile the Study/Analysis Reviewer’s Guide. The training briefly touches on the technology behind Define-XML and tools available to produce the file. Using what you have learned in Level 1 and Level 2 of the SAS Academy for Clinical Programming, you will be able to take the Clinical Trials Programming Using SAS 9.4 exam to become a SAS Certified Clinical Programming Professional. To take this exam, you must be certified as a Base Programming Specialist.
