The USPS changed the digital signatures on USPS data packs in July, 2017. After this change, USPS address verification will not work on any software that is at Level C support (see here for more information about support levels for Data Management Products).
If you are currently on Data Management 2.3 or higher, patches are now available and required to work with the USPS changes. Please see the following SAS Note for patch downloads and more information.
Patches may be downloaded and applied now. SHA-256 compliant data is now available -- see the downloads below.
Note: For customers using National Change of Address (NCOA) from USPS, please open a support track to request an additional NCOA-specific patch for SHA-256 compliance.
