Accessibility Features of SAS Web Parts 6.1 for SharePoint

Overview

SAS Web Parts 6.1 for Microsoft SharePoint has been tested against the accessibility standards for electronic information technology that were adopted by the U.S. Government under Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (2008 draft proposal initiative update). It was also tested against Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 levels A and AA, part of the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of the Worldwide Web Consortium (W3C). Exceptions to Accessibility Standards

Some accessibility issues are caused by underlying applications. For more information, see the accessibility documentation for that application.
These exceptions are known to occur when using SAS Web Parts for Microsoft SharePoint with Internet Explorer.
Accessibility Issue
Workaround
Low-vision or color-blind users cannot use the High Contrast theme (or any other themes with better visual contrast) to view dashboards in the SAS Content Web Part.
In some operating environments, color inversion from the screen magnifier might help users better see these dashboards.
A keyboard-only user cannot manipulate dashboards in the SAS Central Web Part.
