Three types of fabric treatments were used. Each was
replicated five times, giving 15 lots. The order of pre-
paring these was at random. Each treated fabric was sub-
divided and treated with two different rubber compounds.
Each fabricated unit was again subdivided into two parts and
each half given a different cure. Finally each cure was sub-
divided into four test pieces, two pieces being tested at two
different temperatures.
