Compiler Options |
OMD Options shows OMD options from Compiler Options. Not all of these options are valid for every operating environment.

If you use the
OMD
option to run the object module
disassembler at compile time, the options in the first column in OMD Options affect the OMD (and other
processes). For example, used on the command line,
overstrike
affects any
OMD listing you request, as well as any other listings you ask for.
The options shown in the second column apply to the object module disassembler only.
If you run the OMD independent of compilation, you can
use all of the options with an O in the Affects Process column in Compiler Options and summarized in
OMD Options, subject
to system dependencies. (For example, the
files
option is valid for OS/390 batch
only.) For details, refer to each option description on the following pages
and to the description of command lines to invoke the compiler and OMD for
your operating system.
