Selecting Observations
Press To
SHIFT+SPACEBAR Select or deselect the current observation
SHIFT+UP ARROW Move up one cell and select the observation
SHIFT+DOWN ARROW Move down one cell and select the observation
CTRL+A Select all the observations
ESC Deselect all the observations
Selecting Variables
Press To
CTRL+SPACEBAR Select or deselect the current variable
SHIFT+LEFT ARROW Move one cell to the left and select the variable
SHIFT+RIGHT ARROW Move one cell to the right and select the variable
CTRL+SHIFT+A Select all the variables
ESC Deselect all the variables
Inserting
Press To
CTRL+INSERT Open the New Variable dialog box
Deleting
Press To
DELETE Delete the selected observations or variables.
If no observations or variables are selected, delete the contents of the selected cells.
Finding
Press To
CTRL+F Open the Find dialog box
Clipboard
Press To
CTRL+C Copy the selection to the clipboard
CTRL+X Copy the selection to the clipboard; then delete the contents of the selected cells
CTRL+V Paste from the clipboard into the data table beginning at the current cell
Undo and Redo
Press To
CTRL+Z Undo the previous cell editing change
CTRL+Y Redo the previous cell editing change
