Select a Pie Chart Type and Assign Variables to Roles
If the Query Builder tab is not already open in the work area, double-click Query Builder in the Project pane to open it.
From the toolbar menu on the Query Builder tab, select TasksBrowse. In the Open a Task window, select Graph Pie Chart. Click Open.
In the Pie Chart gallery, select Simple Pie.
Click to view the full window.
In the selection pane, click Data.
Assign the CategoryName column to the Column
to chart
role so that the pie chart has a slice for each category. Assign the Total
Profit column
to the Sum
of role so that the size of each slice represents the relative
contribution of each category to overall profit.
Browse. In the Open a Task window, select Graph
