Merging CI 2010B and Later to CI 2010A and Earlier Versions

The QKB file formats were changed in CI 2010B. It is not possible to merge a QKB whose version is CI 2010B or later (source QKB) into a QKB that has an earlier version than CI 2010B (destination QKB). It is possible to merge a QKB that has a version earlier than CI 2010B into a QKB of version CI 2010B and later (destination QKB).

The following table explains the merge results when a definition, data type, or library file exist in both the source QKB and the destination QKB.

NoteNote: When '(backup xxx)' is appended to a name, the 'xxx' will be a numerical value starting with '001'. It will increase in value to ensure no duplication in names occurs.
