QKB Definition Editor Options

These default options apply to the QKB Definition Editor. You can use this editor to customize Quality Knowledge Bases, as described in Accessing Quality Knowledge Bases from the Administration Riser.

The Library files section enables you to specify the locales from which QKB files will be displayed in the QKB Definition Editor. The radio buttons are: 

• Show files for the definition's locale and parents. This is the default.
• Show files for the all locales. This is not recommended because the number of files associated with all locales is usually too large to work with.

The Pattern output section enables you to specify a maximum number of solutions to be displayed in such QKB customize nodes as the Pattern Logic Node. The default is unlimited. You can use the control in this section to limit the number of solutions.

The Warning Messages section enables you to manage QKB error logs and messages. The checkboxes are: 

• Prompt to reload QKB when library files change. Advanced users might want to deselect this option for a brief period, to avoid continuous pop-ups when editing library files. Otherwise this option should be selected.
• Show logs when errors and warnings occur on loading QKB or locales. You might want to select this option to troubleshoot QKBs or locales.
