DataFlux Data Management Studio 2.7: User Guide
These default options apply to DataFlux Data Management Studio in general.
The Preview area sets options for the Preview tab on the Details Pane. The Details Pane is displayed under a job flow when you select View > Details Pane.
Number of rows to show in the preview pane - Specifies the number of rows that are displayed in the Preview tab when a node is selected a job flow.
Automatically preview a selected node when the preview tab is active - When selected, automatically displays data in the Preview tab when a node is selected a job flow.
Enable Lineage - Enables or disables impact analysis and turns on or off lineage in the metadata. The default is on.
Allow use of incompatible Quality Knowledge Base definitions - Enables a setting in the Quality Knowledge Base (QKB) configuration for some nodes that might fail if incompatible definitions are found.
Show RSS feed on the information overview page - When selected, displays an RSS feed from The Data Roundtable | A Community of Experts area of the DataFlux Web site.
Show DataFlux Methodology on startup - When selected, displays the DataFlux Methodology each time you start DataFlux Data Management Studio. This might be useful for those who are new to DataFlux Data Management Studio.
Validate Licenses on startup - When selected, validates licenses each time you start DataFlux Data Management Studio.
Restore Tree Layouts on Startup - When selected, restores trees to the layout that was saved when the application was closed.
The Data Font area is used to select a font for the display of data.
The Diagram area enables you to select mouse behavior in the data flows for data jobs and process jobs.
Save Repository Schema - saves the schema of the repository database to a file. A schema can help database administrators understand the tables, columns, and keys that are used in the repository database.
