Data Connection Options

These default options apply to the data connections that are created on the Data riser.

Default filter size - Defines the default filter size for objects like schemas and tables. The value has to be greater than 0 for a filter to be applied. The default is 500.

Table type filter - Selects which table types are retrieved from the DAC. If this option is empty, all table types are returned. Values must use single quotes. Multiple values should be separated by commas with no spaces between them. The defaults are 'TABLE','VIEW','ALIAS','SYNONYM'.

Table prefix filter - Selects which tables to include. If this option is empty, no filter prefix is applied. This filter trims out leading and trailing blanks as long as the character length is 1 or greater. The default is null.

Expand Federation Server DSNs - When selected, specifies that the Federation servers that you create in the future will display the DSNs that connect to them in the Data Connections folder in the Data riser.

The Reset to Defaults button resets the options to the factory defaults that are listed above.
