Configuring Loqate Software for Use in Data Jobs
Installing
If your site licenses Loqate software, go to the SAS Data Updates section of support.sas.com to download and install the software.
Loqate software must be accessible to all computers where data jobs with Loqate nodes are executed. For example, suppose that you execute test jobs on one computer where DataFlux Data Management Studio is installed, and production jobs are executed on another computer where DataFlux Data Management Server is installed. You must install Loqate software in a way that is consistent with your license and which is accessible to both DataFlux Data Management Studio and DataFlux Data Management Server.
Note: Loqate software does not run on Solaris-x64.
Configuring
After you install Loqate software, update the app.cfg file for all computers where data jobs with Loqate nodes are executed.
Example UNIX path for app.cfg on a computer where DataFlux Data Management Server is installed: SASHome/<dm_server_instance_name>/etc/app.cfg
Example Windows path for app.cfg on a computer with DataFlux Data Management Studio or DataFlux Data Management Server is installed:
SASHome\<dm_studio_instance_name>\etc\app.cfg
Add a VERLQT/LOQATE_DATA_PATH entry to the app.cfg file:
# Example Winodws Path to Loqate data
VERLQT/LOQATE_DATA_PATH=C:\Loqate
Licensing
Your Loqate license is part of the license file for the application that is used execute data jobs with Loqate nodes. For example, if a DataFlux Data Management Server is used to execute a Loqate job, then the license file for that DataFlux Data Management Server must include a license for Loqate software. You must copy the license.lfs file, which is located in the bin directory, to the data directory before using the Loqate data.
