Metadata Server Configuration

These default settings apply to Metadata Server configuration.

Single Server - When selected, specifies that a single server is used. Specify values for the host and the port of the server in the Host and Port fields.

Clustered Server - When selected, specifies that a clustered server is used. Specify the location of the definition file for the clustered server in the Definition File field. Note that the value specified must be a local path.

After entering this value, you must exit and restart DataFlux Data Management Studio. You will be connected to the clustered Metadata Server when you enter credentials to connect to the Metadata Server.

You can also set this location with the BASE/AUTH_SERVER_LOC option in the app.cfg file. Specify the filepath and name for metadataConfig.xml.

Use Integrated Windows authentication (single sign-on) - When selected, enables you to sign on to the Metadata Server with Windows single sign-on.

Automatically log on at startup - When selected, Automatically logs on to the Metadata Server when DataFlux Data Management Studio is started.

Test Connection - When clicked, attempts to connect to the Metadata Server.
