Familiar Word Scheme Node

This node enables you to identify exceptions for which the casing rules specified in the Casing node should not be applied. The chopped words which match familiar words contained within the specified scheme will be transformed to their respective standard defined in the scheme and the transformed value will be excluded from having the casing rules applied.

Select a scheme to use. By default, only files from the locale and its ancestors appear in the drop-down. If you do not see the desired library, click Tools > Data Management Studio Options. From the column on the left, select QKB Definition Editor. Then, in the pane on the right under Library files, click Show files for all locales. QKB files from all locales will be included.

Click Edit to edit the selected file or create a new file, the appropriate editor opens.

Case sensitive scheme lookup

Select this check box if the case of the input word must match the case of the word in the scheme in order to be transformed.

Output

Message

If any word was found in the scheme, the message is "Changes applied". Otherwise, the message will be, "No changes applied".

Results

NoteNote: It is possible for the input and output word to be identical even if the word was found in the scheme, if the scheme returns output identical to the input.
