DataFlux Data Management Studio 2.7: User Guide

Preprocessing Regex Library Node

A Preprocessing Regex Library node enables you to normalize strings before they are input to a pre-processing scheme in a match definition. These nodes could be used to remove diacritics and to manage punctuation, for example. They could also be used to transform strings across the boundary of digit or character. This could enable you to match strings that you would otherwise not catch because the strings will be chopped and parsed differently.

Examples:

110 East Post Rd
11O East Post Rd

6 rue Pampero
6 rue Pamper0
