DataFlux Data Management Studio 2.6: User Guide
You can use the Data Model tab to review the data model of the table. This model displays a list of the fields contained in the table. It also includes a graphic indicator for the data type for each field. The toolbar contains the following elements:
Action Menu - Enables you to perform actions on fields in the table. You can also right-click in the Data Model tab to perform the actions shown in the pop-up menu.
Management Tools - Enable you to open data models and create explorations and profiles. Also enables you to re size the data model in the Data Model tab.
Find in Data Connections - Highlights the table used in the data model in the Data riser.
Only show keys and indexes - When selected, specifies that only the fields used for keys and indexes are shown in the data model.
Show all related tables - When selected, specifies that all the tables that are related to the selected table (by keys, for example) are shown in the data model.
Note that you can move the tables around to make them look better or to create a layout that is better for printing or saving. You can also print the layouts or save them to a GIF file. However, the rearranged tables are not persisted across invocations of the tab.
