DataFlux Data Management Studio 2.6: User Guide
You can add an HTML Report node to a data job to create an HTML-formatted report from the results of your data job. You can edit your HTML report after it has been created. You can also use your own cascading style sheet to change the color, fonts, and overall look of the report.
Once you have added the node, you can double-click it to open its properties dialog. The properties dialog includes the following elements:
Name - Specifies a name for the node.
Notes - Enables you to open the Notes dialog. You use the dialog to enter optional details or any other relevant information for the node.
Report title - Enables you to specify a title for the report. This title appears both at the top of the report and in the title bar of the browser displaying the report.
Report name - Specifies the path and name for the report text file data source (for example, c:\reports\myreport.html). You can click Browse to navigate to the file location.
Note: Depending on your settings on the Options dialog, you might be restricted to saving reports only in the Management Resources Directory.
Display report in browser after job run - When selected, automatically opens the completed HTML report in your default browser.
The Output fields section of the dialog includes the following elements:
Available - Displays the fields that you can make available for the next step in your data job. Items displayed in this list are dependent on your data sources and any preceding steps in your data job.
Selected - Displays the fields that will be made available to the next node in your data job.
You can access the following advanced properties by right-clicking the HTML Report node:
