DataFlux Data Management Studio 2.6: User Guide
You can add a Match Code (Parsed) node to a data job to specify the duplicate records identified with your match criteria for parsed data. Once you have added the node, you can double-click it to open its properties dialog. The properties dialog includes the following elements:
Name - Specifies a name for the node.
Notes - Enables you to open the Notes dialog. You use the dialog to enter optional details or any other relevant information for the input.
Output Field - Specifies the name of the field in which the match codes will be placed.
Locale - Specifies the locale within your Quality Knowledge Base (QKB) to use for analyzing your data and creating match codes.
Definition - Specifies the definition used to create custom match definitions specific to your organization.
Tokens - Enables you to create match tokens. Match tokens are tokens for the selected match definition. For each token, select the field in your data that contains that type of information. For example, you can select Employee First Name in the Field Name column to match a Given Name token.
Additional Outputs - Displays the Additional Outputs dialog. This dialog enables you to specify the fields that you can make available to the next node in your data job.
Generate null match codes for null or blank field values - When selected, creates match codes for null or blank input field values. Disable the box to cause all null or blank field values to return a match code representation of blank.
Preserve null values - When selected, specifies that null values in the data source are preserved.
You can access the following advanced properties by right-clicking the Match Codes (Parsed) node:
