Address Verification (World) Node

You can add an Address Verification (World) node to a data job to verify addresses from outside of the US and Canada. This step is similar to QAS address verification, but it supports verification and correction for addresses from over 200 locales. Once you have added the node, you can double-click it to open its properties dialog. The properties dialog includes the following elements:

Name - Specifies a name for the node.

Notes - Enables you to open the Notes dialog. You use the dialog to enter optional details or any other relevant information for the input.

Input Fields - Displays all of the fields that you can use for world address verification processing. Items displayed in this list are dependent on your data source and any previous steps in your data job. For each field you use for address verification, select the type of address information in the Field Type column.

Address Mode - Specifies how addresses are handled in the Address Verification (World) node. The following options are available:

Country - Specifies how the address verification query is limited to specific countries. The following options are available:

Note Note: The incoming country formats can be type ISO-2, ISO-3, and full country name. All of these variations are recognized properly when passed through the "country" input field.

Input data is sorted by country - When selected, sorts the input data by country.

Address Separator - Enables you to select comma, semi-colon, or tab from the drop-down list as the delimiter used in your source data and output.

The Output fields section of the dialog includes the following elements:

Available - Displays the fields that you can make available for the next step in your data job. Items displayed in this list are dependent on your data sources and any preceding steps in your data job.

Selected - Displays the fields that will be made available to the next node in your data job.

Additional Outputs - Displays the Additional Outputs dialog. This dialog enables you to specify the fields that you can make available to the next node in your data job.

You can access the following advanced properties by right-clicking the Address Verification (World) node:
