General QKB Usage Notes

Downloading the Latest QKB

A QKB is not delivered in the same installation as DataFlux Data Management Studio. You can use an existing QKB or you can install the most recent version of the QKB, available at Download QKBs. If you do choose to download the latest QKB version, install it after you install DataFlux Data Management Studio.

Data Quality Warning for Incompatible Version

If a profile or some other object references a LOCALE in a QKB, and the version of the QKB is incompatible with the version of DataFlux Data Management Studio that you are using, you will get an error, such as:

Failure loading the Locale ENUSA with error(s):
[117] Data Quality - Warning: 'Match' definition 'Name (Probabilistic)' has an incompatible version '9.1'. This definition may be unavailable at run-time."

The Data Quality engine is a technology used in DataFlux Data Management Studio. Use the following version numbers to help you match the QKB version to the version DataFlux Data Management Studio of that you are using.

• Data Management Studio 2.1 uses Data Quality engine 9.0
• Data Management Studio 2.2 uses Data Quality engine 9.1
