SAS® Credit Scoring

Develop, validate, backtest, and monitor credit risk models and scorecards in-house, while minimizing model risk and improving governance. SAS Credit Scoring is an end-to-end solution that helps institutions involved in money-lending services develop and track credit risk scores. It also helps them manage the full modeling life cycle in one comprehensive platform.

SAS Credit Scoring supports big data by using in-database processing in Hadoop and Teradata. It integrates with open-source software, such as R and Python, and with other SAS products, such as machine learning on SAS Viya, to accommodate the diverse modeling needs across business domains. Building effective credit risk strategies and making decisions in real time are seamless with the integration of SAS® Real-Time Decision Manager.

The most recent release is SAS Credit Scoring 6.4.

Beginning with Release 8.1, SAS Credit Scoring has been renamed SAS® Risk Modeling.

What's New in SAS Credit Scoring 6.4

  • Along with out-of-the-box installation (OOTB), support for platform upgrade and migration from SAS 9.4M7 to SAS 9.4M8.
  • Supports foundation mart in SAS. No support for foundation mart in Teradata and Hadoop.
  • No support for SAS Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning models.
