View SAP Server Parameters Dialog Box

Use the View SAP Server Parameters dialog box to view all parameters that were defined for the SAP server that you selected from the Configured SAP Server drop-down list in the SAP Server window.
The View SAP Server Parameters dialog box contains the following items:
Connection Method
displays all parameters for the connection type that is associated with the SAP server. The connection type determines which other parameters display in this group box:
Connection Method
displays the connection method that has been defined for the selected Configured SAP Server. This connection method determines how the selected profile connects to the appropriate SAP server. Here are the connection method options:
  • Application Server
  • Message Server
  • Logical Destination
  • SAP Login ID
Machine
displays the name of the Application Server Host, which is the machine or host on which the SAP application server is running. This parameter is specified when the Application Server connection type is defined for the SAP server. The Machine parameter displays in the SAP Application Server Connection Parameters group box, which displays only if you select Application Server as the connection method.
System No.
displays the system number for the SAP System to which you are connecting. This parameter is specified when the Application Server connection type is defined for the SAP server. The System No. parameter displays in the SAP Application Server Connection Parameters group box. The group box is visible only if you select Application Server as the connection method.
Host
displays the name of the Message Server Host, which is the machine or host on which the message server host is running. This parameter is specified when the Message Server connection type is defined for the SAP server. This parameter displays in the Message Server Parameters group box. The group box is visible only when you select the Message Server connection method.
R3 Name
displays the SAP System name for the host. This parameter applies only if you are using load balancing. This name displays in the Message Server Parameters group box. The group box is visible only if you select Message Server as the connection method.
Router
displays the router information. This parameter is specified when the Message Server connection type is defined for the SAP server. This parameter displays in the Message Server Parameters group box. The group box is visible only if you select Message Server as the connection method.
R3Name
displays the SAP System name for the router. This parameter is specified when the Message Servers connection type is defined for the SAP server. This parameter displays in the Message Server Parameters group box. The group box is visible only if you select Message Server as the connection method.
Destination
displays the Destination, which identifies the logical destination of the SAPRFC.INI file. This parameter is specified when the SAPRFC.INI Logical Name connection type is defined for the SAP server. This parameter displays in the SAP Logical Destination Parameters group box. The group box is visible only when you select Logical Destination as the connection method.
SAP Login ID
displays the SAP Login ID - 32 Bit Windows. This parameter is specified when the SAPGUI Logical Name connection type is defined for the SAP server. This parameter displays in the SAP Login ID Parameters group box. This group box is visible only when you select the SAP Login ID connection method.
Additional Options
displays various parameters for the connection to the SAP System:
RFC Trace
indicates whether the RFC trace function is enabled.
Batch RFC Server
indicates whether the SAS will batch RFC operations.
Code Page
specifies the name and location of the code page. The code page identifies characters and symbols that can be printed, displayed on terminals, and used in SAP programs.
Other Options
specifies any other connection parameters specified in the SAP Server definition, such as DESTGROUP.
