The Advanced
Options dialog box enables you to use the trace option, the batch
mode option, the code page for the SAP server, or specify additional
options such as the DESTGROUP= option. You can use all the options,
some options, or no options.
The Advanced
Options dialog box contains the following items:
enables you to select
the RFC trace option. If the trace option is turned on, the RFC library
writes a log that contains information about all requests that SAS
makes to the SAP System.
enables you to select
the batch mode option. When batch mode is turned on, SAS uses batch
jobs to extract the SAP BW or SAP R/3 data. When batch mode is turned off, SAS uses dialog processes
to extract SAP BW or SAP R/3 data.
enables you to specify
the name and location of the code page. The code page identifies characters
and symbols that can be printed, displayed on terminals, and used
in SAP programs.

Use this field to specify
