data query is your primary method for selecting and formatting data that is used with data exploration
and creating reports.
A data query is a
metadata object that manages the references to input tables,
output tables, staging tables, joins, and summarizations from a SAS Visual Data Builder
session. You can save
data queries and open them later to edit the data preparation operations that are performed in
the data
query. You can use saved data
queries as subqueries when you create a new data query.
