Extended Attributes: SAS LASR Analytic Server

Introduction

This topic documents extended attributes for a SAS LASR Analytic Server. Extended attributes for autostart, autoload, and reload-on-start are at the library level, not the server level. See Optional Convenience Features.

  1. In SAS Management Console, on the Plug-ins tab, expand Environment Managementthen selectServer Manager.
  2. Right-click a SAS LASR Analytic Server, and select Properties.
  3. In the Properties dialog box, select the Extended Attributes tab.

Reference

VA.MonitoringPath
specifies a custom directory for monitoring artifacts for this SAS LASR Analytic Server. By default, this attribute is not set. If this attribute is set, it overrides the corresponding suite-level property (va.monitoringPath) for this server. If this attribute is set, the specified directory must exist on a workspace server host. The directory must have two required subdirectories: PIDs and Logs.
VA.MaxTotalMemoryForTables (tables limit)
specifies (in bytes) how much of a server’s memory can be used by tables. By default, this attribute is not set, so no limit is in effect. The best practice for setting this attribute is to use the administrator. See Limit Space for Tables.
VA.TextAnalyticsBinaryLocation
location of SAS linguistic files. In the standard configuration, the files are in the SAS installation directory. Here are some examples:
UNIX Specifics: /SASFoundation/Version/misc/tktg (for a non-distributed server), /opt/TKTGDat (for a distributed server)
Windows Specifics: \SASFoundation\Version\tktg\sasmisc
