The SAS Metadata Server supports a variety
of authentication providers
to determine who can access the SAS Metadata Server. It also defines privileged
users. Only a user who has been granted unrestricted user status on the SAS
Metadata Server has unrestricted access to metadata on the SAS Metadata Server.
Only a user who has been granted either unrestricted user status or administrative
user status on the SAS Metadata Server can create and delete repositories,
modify a repository's registrations, change the state of a repository, and
