Routing SAS Output

The destination of your output depends on

the operating environment
the setting of SAS system options
whether you use ODS
the method of running SAS

There are several ways to route SAS output to a destination other than the default destination. You can route the output to your personal computer, to an external file, or directly to a printer. If you use ODS, you can route output to a data set for most procedures.

interactive line mode		the personal computer display (as statements are entered)
