The WORDFw.
format converts numeric values to their equivalent in English words,
with fractions that are represented numerically in hundredths. For
example, 8.2 is printed as eight and 20/100.
Negative numbers are
preceded by the word minus. When the value's equivalent in words does
not fit into the specified field, it is truncated on the right and
the last character is printed as an asterisk.
