Add a New Printer

This window enables you to provide a name and description for the new printer entry, enter the command or commands that send a file to that printer, and test the commands you have entered.

Select the Enter commands button after you have provided a name for the printer entry.This will bring up a text editor where you can type the command or commands that send a file to this particular printer at your site. At the top of the text editor is a header containing some instructions and suggestions. Read and follow these instructions carefully.

Note that SAS/LAB software has no way to check the printer commands that you enter. Making sure that they work is your responsibility.To see whether your commands work, select the Test commands button.This will send a small test file to the printer using the commands you have provided.
