Saving Results

For every data set analyzed, SAS/LAB software creates a journal where results can be saved. From every window where tables or graphs are displayed, you can save those results to the current journal. From anywhere that you can save results, you can also review any items previously saved to the journal. When you review the journal, you can also edit it.

On any window where results are displayed, select the Journal menu bar item to save or review results.

In addition, when you are in a Help window, you can use the Save button to append the contents of that help window to the journal for the current data set.

If you like, you can save results from the journal to an external file. Begin by reviewing the saved text. In the Saved Text window, select File from the menu bar. Then select 'Save as' and 'Write to file' from the pull-down menus.
