Invoking SAS/LAB Software

You can bring up SAS/LAB software by entering the command LAB on any SAS display manager command line.

If you know the name of the data set that you want to analyze, you can add an option to the LAB command to pass that information to SAS/LAB software. Follow the LAB command with the option DATA= <data set name>. For example, if you wanted to analyze the FITNESS data set, you could invoke SAS/LAB software as follows:

lab data=sasuser.fitness

You must provide a two-level data set name unless the data set is in your WORK library.
