By default, the response variable in the new data set is named RESPONSE. To use a different name, type over the word RESPONSE in the field at the top of the window.
The response variable must have numeric values.
If you have two grouping variables, enter a response value in each cell where both a row level and a column level exist. If you do not enter a value in such a cell, no corresponding observation is created in the new data set.
If you have one grouping variable, enter as many response values as you have in the cells of each row (or column) where a grouping variable level exists.
