Backward Compatibility

Starting with the July 2015 release of SAS 9.4, the required location of the SAS Hadoop MapReduce JAR files and whether MapReduce service must be restarted during installation of the in-database deployment package for Hadoop depends on what version of the SAS client is being used.
The following table explains the differences.
