On Windows
and Linux operating systems, you can run the ODS Graphics Editor as
a stand-alone product without invoking SAS. You can download the stand-alone
editor for free from SAS.
Note: Starting with
SAS 9.2 Phase 2, on Windows and Linux operating systems, you must
install the stand-alone editor even when you plan to invoke the editor
from SAS. You cannot open the ODS Graphics Editor SGE files
without the stand-alone editor. If you haven't already installed the
stand-alone editor, you can download and install it using the following
instructions.
To download
the stand-alone ODS Graphics Editor:

Go to
the
SAS/GRAPH Web site:
http://www.sas.com/apps/demosdownloads/setupcat.jsp?cat=SAS%2FGRAPH+Software

Click
the ODS Graphics Editor from the list. The ODS Graphics Editor Download
Packages page appears.

View the
README file for the appropriate platform. You might print the file
so that you can refer to it later.
Note: Verify that
you have the correct Java Runtime Environment installed, as specified
in the README file.

Read the
license agreement and then click
I Accept. The Download page appears.

Click
the
Download button next to the file that
you want to download. The compressed file is downloaded to your system.

Follow
the instructions in the README file to unpack the files, start the
SAS Deployment Wizard, and install the editor.
