Deployment Process Overview: Step Two

This chapter describes how to set up a profile on the SAS Technical Support website.
Setting up a profile is the second of five steps in deploying SAS Foundation.
1. Complete the Pre-Installation Checklist.
then select2. Set up a SAS profile.
3. Create a SAS Software Depot.
4. Install SAS.
5. Validate your SAS deployment.
Note: You are not required to set up a SAS profile if you are installing from physical media (DVDs). Proceed to Creating Your SAS Software Depot.
