This document assumes
that you and your SAS representative have decided what software you
need and on what machine you will install the software. So this document
begins with pre-installation and continues through the installatio,
and configuration tasks that you must perform for a basic deployment
of SAS Foundation and related software on a UNIX machine.
This document is written
for the SAS system administrator—the person who oversees the
entire process of deploying SAS. The administrator receives the software
order email (SOE), receives the physical installation media or downloads
the order, and installs and configures SAS.
