The latest version
of a rule set is the rule set that has the highest version number.
It is also the last version that you saved. You can edit only the
latest version of a rule set.
Only one version of
a rule set can be unlocked at a time. If you create a new version
of a rule set, SAS Decision Manager locks the existing
latest version before it creates a new latest version.
To edit a rule set,
it must be unlocked. You cannot unlock a rule set. To make changes
to a rule set that has been locked, you must create a new version
of the rule set and make changes to the new version.
To publish a rule flow,
all of the rule set versions that are referenced in the rule flow
must be locked. When you publish a rule flow, SAS Decision Manager
automatically locks any unlocked rule set versions that are used in
the rule flow.
