Overview of SAS Metadata Server Configuration

The following configuration settings can be used to manage the SAS Metadata Server:

the MAXACTIVETHREADS, THREADSMIN, and THREADSMAX options, which control the way that the metadata server uses threads. See Configuring the Number of Threads Used by the Metadata Server.
the metadata server journaling options. See Configuring Metadata Server Journaling.
the alert e-mail options. See Managing Alert E-mail Options for the SAS Metadata Server.
