Overview of Common Data Sources |
Message queues are collections of data objects that enable asynchronous
communication between processes. These processes are typically applications
that run on different computers, and might be configured in a heterogenous
network. Queue management software ensures that messages are transmitted without
error. SAS Data Integration Studio can perform messaging jobs to read and
write messages to Microsoft MSMQ as well as IBM WebSphere MQ. For more information
about administering message queues, see
SAS Intelligence Platform: Desktop Application Administration Guide. For more information about
creating messaging jobs, see
SAS Data Integration Studio: User's Guide.
