Set the Automatic Refresh Interval

To automatically refresh the contents of the SAS BI Dashboard viewer, complete the following steps:
  1. Click Viewthen selectSet Automatic Refresh Interval. The Refresh Interval window appears.

  2. Click Automatic refresh, and then specify the time interval in the Interval field.
  3. Click OK.
Note: The automatic refresh feature updates only the underlying data that is used by the indicators on the dashboard. If you change the dashboard by adding, removing, or modifying indicators, these changes are not displayed in the viewer after an automatic refresh. To ensure that dashboard changes are reflected in the viewer, you must manually refresh the viewer. For more information about performing a manual refresh, see Manually Refresh the Viewer Contents.
