Access the Dashboard Designer

Note: You must be a member of the SAS BI Dashboard Administrator group to design and modify dashboards. If you are a member of this group, the following options are available:
  • The SAS BI Dashboard viewer toolbar displays Manage Dashboards.
  • The SAS BI Dashboard portlet toolbar displays Manage Dashboards icon.
You can access the dashboard designer in the following ways:
  • by typing the following Web address in your Web browser: http://server:port/SASBIDashboard.
    server:port is the Web address of your SAS BI Dashboard server.
    Note: The port and the default root directory for SAS BI Dashboard are set during the installation of the product. The Web address used by your organization might vary.
    The SAS BI Dashboard viewer appears. To open the dashboard designer, click Manage Dashboards in the toolbar.
  • by clicking Manage Dashboards icon in the SAS BI Dashboard portlet toolbar.
