Understanding the Configuration of SAS Management Console

The following administrative and configuration files for SAS Management Console are located on each client:

sasmc.ini: contains configuration settings for SAS Management Console. The default storage location is SAS-installation-directory\SAS\SASManagementConsole\9.x.
app.smc: contains the user profile for SAS Management Console. The default storage location for Windows is C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Application Data\SAS\SASManagementConsole\9.x. The default storage location for the Vista operating environment begins with C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\SAS\9.x.
