Input File and SAS Data Set for Examples

The examples in this section are based on data from a university entrance exam called the Scholastic Aptitude Test, or SAT. The data is provided in one input file that contains the average SAT scores of entering university classes from 1972 to 1998.(footnote 1) The input file has the following structure:
